TipCalc v2.0
Once you know the total to pay for a meal, add the percentage tip you want to pay and the number of people at the table.
The application will tell you how much everyone has to pay.
As soon as you get your receipt for the meal, you can use this application. Use the up and down arrows to enter the number of people that ate.
You can also type the number of people by using the keypad, keyboard or on-screen-keyboard of your device. This field allows only numbers.
Enter the total amount of money to pay without including the tip. This field allows only numbers.
Tap on the tip drop-down and select the tip percentage you want to pay for the quality of service provided. The drop down has values from
0% to 25% with increments of 5%. You can tap on the screen or use the directional pad to select the option you want.
Tap on the "Calculate" option menu in order to calculate the results.
Four different results will be displayed. Total Tip will indicate the total tip
to pay for the whole receipt. The Total check will be for the receipt total plus
the total tip. The Tip per Person will show how much tip everyone is paying. The
Total per Person will show the total that each person should pay to reach the total
check amount.
You can round up the total per person amount if you want to avoid having to deal
with small change, this will increase the total to pay but simplify the process.
